BIOL 3650U – Fundamentals of Nutrition This course provides the basic concepts for the study of human and animal nutrition. Topics will include those related to macronutrient nutrition, fibre and energy metabolism. The structure and function of macronutrients and fibre, their digestion, absorption and metabolism in the body and their implications for health will be discussed.
