Program Learning Outcomes - Information Technology Security, MITS

By the end of the program, students graduating will be able to:

Perform and evaluate state-of-the-art cybersecurity attack techniques and ‘think like a hacker’.
Plan and deploy appropriate cybersecurity defense mechanisms.
Design and appraise organizational cybersecurity resilience measures.
Create and effectively present measurable and impactful organizational cybersecurity policies.
Evaluate cybersecurity ethics and biases from social, legal and other sociotechnical contexts.
Identify and examine the limitations of state-of-the-art cybersecurity practices.
Use artificial intelligence and data mining tools to detect and classify threat actors’ activities in order to identify and protect from malicious activities.
