General information and admission requirements
Admission is competitive. The specific average or standing required for admission varies from year to year. Students are selected by taking into consideration a wide range of criteria including school marks, distribution of subjects taken, and performance in subjects relevant to the academic program. Possession of the minimum requirements does not guarantee acceptance. Preference will be given to applicants with the best qualifications. Graduates with a three-year Ontario college diploma in Information Technology or Computer Systems with a minimum 3.0 GPA (B average on a 4.3 scale) may be considered for admission directly to the third year of the honours Bachelor of Information Technology – Networking and Information Technology Security major. Business elective
Students must select a BUSI course from the Faculty of Business and IT, subject to credit restrictions.
Technical electiveStudents must select an approved INFR/CSCI course as a technical elective. Details will be sent to their Ontariotechu.net email accounts prior to registration and available in their schedule of classes. |
