Forensic Psychology minor

General information and requirements

A minor in Forensic Psychology is available to students of other majors at our university with the exception of Psychology. Students who major in Psychology are unable to take a minor in Forensic Psychology. Students should be aware of course prerequisites needed to pursue this minor. The Forensic Psychology minor consists of six courses (18 credit hours). A cumulative GPA of at least 2.0 in the minor courses is required to successfully complete the Forensic Psychology minor.

• Three of:

• FPSY 3055U – Treatment in Forensic Settings or
• PSYC 3060U – Personality Psychology or
• FPSY 3110U – Directed Laboratory Research in Forensic Psychology or
• FPSY 3310U – Confessions and Interrogations or
• FPSY 3320U – Eyewitness Psychology or
• FPSY 3400U – Investigative Psychology or
• PSYC 3500U – Stereotypes and Prejudice or
• FPSY 3900U – Special Topics in Forensic Psychology I or
• FPSY 3039U – Children, Psychology and the Law
