KINE 2140U – Research Methods This course introduces students to quantitative and qualitative research theories, methodologies, and methods within kinesiology. In doing so, the course emphasizes a range of research methods and settings, including experimental, non-experimental and community-based research. A focus throughout the course is to recognize the strengths of limitations of different research methods. Students will have an opportunity to explore innovative study designs, and demonstrate the application of research methods during the planning of the research process.
