ENGR 2100U – Computational Engineering Applications

Introduction to MATLAB and Python libraries and packages for numerical computing, the engineering applications of MATLAB and Python to the following areas: solving systems of linear algebraic equations, interpolation and curve fitting, finding the roots of equations, numerical differentiation and numerical integration, solving initial value problems, solving two-point boundary value problems, solving symmetric matrix eigenvalue problems, and introduction to engineering design optimization.
