CSCI 4150U – Data Mining This course introduces the key concepts, principles and techniques in data mining. The following topics will be covered: data exploration, frequent pattern mining, classification methods (such as decision tree, and naïve Bayes), clustering algorithms and anomaly detection. The course provides students with the opportunity to have hands-on experience with data analytics tools and languages.
