EDUC 3200U – Introduction to Indigenous Pedagogy The course examines the historical, political, social, and cultural contexts of Indigenous education in Ontario and Canada. Participants will explore Indigenous ways of knowing as well as pedagogical strategies and curricular consideration to appropriately integrate Indigenous content in the K-12 learning environment. Special attention will be given to Place and Land-based pedagogies. Credit hours: 3 Lecture hours: 4
