PSYC 5200G - Cognitive Development

This course is an overview of cognitive development with an emphasis on infancy through adolescence. Cognitive development is a broad field that encompasses many areas of human achievement. Topics covered will include theories and empirical research concerning several areas of cognitive development such as memory, language and perception. An emphasis will be placed on drawing connections between the various cognitive domains discussed and how these domains relate to behaviour.
