HLSC 5391G - Advanced Topics in Neuromuscular Physiology and Pathophysiology

Students who have successfully completed this course will have reliably demonstrated an ability to review‐discuss, analyze and critically integrate prerequisite work in functional neuroscience and neuro and muscular skeletal anatomy and will have evidenced a contextual understanding of normal and functional pathophysiological conditions commonly encountered in the central and peripheral nervous system and the neuro muscular skeletal tissue interface. The course is structured and delivered encompassing a combined model that accommodates the requirements of fourth year undergraduate honours-level learning outcomes in the Bachelor of Health Science (Honours) program and also graduate-level learning outcomes in the Master of Health Sciences program.
