NUCL 5060G - Nuclear Concepts for Engineers and Scientists

The course presents the fundamental principles of nuclear engineering and radiation science for graduate students who do not have an adequate background in these areas. Topics covered include nuclear structure, radioactivity, interaction of radiation with matter, neutronics, and applications of nuclear technology.
Credit hours: 3
Prerequisite(s): Undergraduate knowledge of Differential Equations, Partial Differential Equations, Vector Calculus.
Note(s): This course is not available to students who graduated from an undergraduate program in the Faculty of Energy Systems and Nuclear Science.
