MCSC 7000G - Modelling and Computational Science Professional Skills This course introduces students to a variety of topics of importance for a career in the academic and non-academic sectors. To satisfy the course requirements, students must complete at least six modules, selected from at least three of the available categories, namely Professional Communication, Research and Knowledge Mobilization, Teaching and Learning, Entrepreneurship and Leadership, Career Management and Other. Students may elect to participate in workshops offered by other institutions, such as professional organisations, or in other relevant activities, such as conference organisation. In that case, the Graduate Program Director may award (partial) credit towards passing this course in consultation with the research supervisor(s). Credit hours: 3
