ENGR 5425G - Production and Operations Management

This course covers the primary tools and methods used in the management of production and operations of engineering systems. Product demand forecasting: moving averages, exponential smoothing, inventory management, economic order quantity, (s,S) policy, (r,Q) policy, news vendor models, dynamic programming models, production planning, linear and integer programming models and solutions, lean manufacturing principles, and operations and job scheduling.
