ENGR 5122G - Computational Fluid Dynamics

Introduction to CFD modelling and mesh generation software. Basic equations of fluid flow and commonly used approximations. Turbulence modelling (one and two equation models and higher order models). Iterative solution methods and convergence criteria. Practical analysis of turbulent pipe flow mixing elbow and turbomachinery blade problems. Software use and tests.
