HLSC 3631U – Health Policy and Process This course introduces policy concepts, elements, analytical processes and outcomes of healthy public policy. Knowledge on public policy analysis will be applied to Canadian health policy issues in the context of the World Health Organization’s definition of health and well-being. This course will not only assist in the development of critical thinking, application of evidence informed decision-making, and critiquing skills; but will also help to develop knowledge of Canada’s evolving health care system in response to economic, cultural, technological, political, ideological, and globalization factors and forces.
