NURS 5020G - Philosophy of Nursing Science

Major paradigms, theoretical assumptions and conceptual frameworks of nursing science are covered in this course. Students will explore the evolution of nursing science, both the historical journey, and the contribution it makes to health care today. The manner in which social justice and caring paradigm are ingrained in nurses’ work in a variety of settings across the human lifespan will be explored.
