PSYC 5600G - Sexual Offending This course provides an overview to the study of sexual offending and sexual offenders. Through a survey of major theories, and research findings, students will develop an understanding of why people commit offenses of a sexual nature. Typical topics include: etiology of sexual offending, prevalence of sexual offending, types of sexual offenders, theories of sexual offending, and assessment and treatment of sexual offenders.
