PSYC 5170G - Readings in Classical Psychology This course is designed to introduce graduate students to the key thinkers in the discipline. This course will examine how psychology as an academic field has been shaped by the early writings of principal theorists such as William James, Sigmund Freud, Carl Jung, Alfred Adler, Karen Horney, Carl Rogers and Abraham Maslow. Emphasis will be placed on the critical reading of original texts. Credit hours: 3
