CRMN 3024U – Criminal Gangs This course examines the variety and extent of criminal gang activity. It will offer an analysis of the definitions of gangs, theoretical models used in the study of gangs, the social context that leads to gang formation, variations in gang structures and purposes, and various methods for controlling and policing gangs in Canada and elsewhere.
