BUSI 1916U – Business Math II The fundamental focus of the course is on elementary calculus, including characteristics properties, classes, and limits of functions, as well as the derivative and rules of differentiation, step-by-step method to graph functions, optimization, and the integral and methods of integration. Throughout the course, a variety of applications in diverse areas of business is presented so the students continually see how the basic mathematics they are learning can be used. Use of software tools for optimization and graphing is also highlighted.
