MCSC 7230G - Advanced Topics in High-Performance Computing This course explores recent topics in high performance computing that are at the forefront of current research. The main objective of the course is to familiarize students with contemporary implementations and practical algorithms as preparation for doctoral research. The topics are chosen according to the needs and demands of the students. Potential topics include distributed computing, cluster computing, grid computing, numerical linear algebra for high-performance computers, domain decomposition methods and parallel preconditioners.
