ENGR 6003G - PhD Seminar for Mechanical Engineering

Students participate in seminars by internal and external speakers on current research topics. All Mechanical Engineering PhD students are required to give two 40-minute (approximate) seminars on their thesis research, typically within the second and final years of their program, either at UOIT or an oral presentation in a national or international conference (or a combination thereof). Students must also attend a minimum of ten seminars at UOIT (at least six of which must be in FEAS). The student will receive a grade of either pass or fail.
