Program Learning Outcomes - Applied Bioscience, PhD

By the end of the program, students graduating will be able to:

Demonstrate mastery of advanced knowledge and critical thinking in applied bioscience.
Develops and conduct innovative independent research that makes significant contributions to the field of applied bioscience.
Analyze, synthesize, and integrate information from a variety of sources to identify novel research directions and opportunities.
Communicate research findings and ideas through oral and written means to scientific and non-scientific audiences.
Demonstrate ethical conduct and professional behavior in scientific research and interactions with colleagues and the broader community.
Develop leadership skills and collaborate effectively in interdisciplinary teams to address complex problems in applied bioscience.
