Program Learning Outcomes - Criminology and Social Justice, PhD

By the end of the program, students graduating will have:

Familiarity with core criminological theories.
Familiarity with key contemporary issues in criminology, criminal justice, and social justice.
Familiarity with the extent of crime, criminals, and criminal justice responses.
Critical thinking skills; ability to collect and analyze data in various public and private sector contexts.
The ability to apply analytical skills to criminal justice issues.
The ability to conduct and disseminate independent research and results to an academic audience.
