Program Learning Outcomes - Health Sciences, MHSc

By the end of the program, students graduating will be able to:

• Critically analyze the social, biological, environmental, psychological, and technological conditions that affect the health, well-being, and/or performance of individuals, and underrepresented groups.
• Communicate knowledge and scientific findings effectively through written and oral methods.
• Design, conduct, and interpret the results of a research thesis, or project, using one or more field-specific research methods and analyses.
• Develop applied research skills required in their specific academic field of inquiry, practice, and scholarship.
• Implement the principles of equity, diversity, and inclusion throughout their degree.
• Formulate a research thesis or project according to the Tri-Council Ethical Framework.
