General information
The Engineering and Management combination programs meet the rapidly increasing need for engineers with the leadership skills to succeed in business and management.
Students study the complete engineering program, and also gain critical management skills in key areas of business including accounting, finance, operations, human resources and marketing.
Students in these programs normally take two semesters of business and management courses for 30 credit hours after successfully completing third year. The regular fourth year of the engineering program is then taken in Year 5 of the program.

Admission requirements
Applications to the Bachelor of Engineering and Management will be accepted in the winter semester of a student’s third year of study. A minimum CGPA of 2.3 is required to be eligible to apply to the program and to continue in the program. This program may have limited space and applications are considered on a competitive basis. Successful applicants will be notified by the Office of the Registrar by the end of May after the term of application. Program details and degree requirements
The Engineering and Management program follows the same degree requirements as the four-year degree program, but also includes the addition of 10 management courses, which are taken in Year 4. Students in the Engineering and Management program will then take the regular fourth year of the engineering program in Year 5. Please note the Business electives are subject to availability of space and not all electives are offered each semester.
