Political Science minor

General requirements

A minor in Political Science is available to all students at our university where possible within their existing major. Students must confirm their eligibility for this minor with their home faculty, and must be aware of all necessary course prerequisites. The Political Science minor consists of seven courses (21 credit hours), three of which are compulsory core courses. A cumulative GPA of at least 2.0 in the minor courses is required to successfully complete the Political Science minor.

Core courses:

• POSC 1000U – Introduction to Political Science
• POSC 2000U – Canadian Politics
• POSC 2100U – Global Politics

Political Science electives:

Four POSC courses, at least two of which must be at the third- or fourth-year level.
