General information
The Communication and Digital Media Studies Advanced Entry program provides college graduates with the opportunity to apply their college diploma in Print and Broadcast Journalism, Public Relations, Advertising, Broadcast for Contemporary Media, Contemporary Web Design, Digital Photography, Digital Video Production or Interactive Media Design toward a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Communication and Digital Media Studies.
Students enrolled in Communication and Digital Media Studies Advanced Entry will enter directly into third year of the Communication and Digital Media Studies degree program at our university and will follow a modified program map that will allow students to complete the program in two years of full-time study. Admission requirements
Admission is competitive. The specific average or standing required for admission varies from year to year. Students are selected by taking into consideration a wide range of criteria including school marks, distribution of subjects taken, and performance in subjects relevant to the academic program. Possession of the minimum requirements does not guarantee acceptance. Preference will be given to applicants with the best qualifications.
To qualify for the Communication and Digital Media Studies Advanced Entry program, the minimum entrance requirement is a two-year Ontario college diploma (or equivalent) in a communication and digital media studies relevant program.
