General requirements
A student must take a minimum of 21 credit hours in courses with the designation BIOL, including at least six credit hours at the 3000- or 4000-level. No more than six credit hours can be double-counted towards both major and minor program requirements. A cumulative GPA of at least 2.0 in the minor subject courses is required to successfully complete a minor program.

Additional courses:
At least three additional courses (9 credit hours) with a designation of BIOL, excluding BIOL 1000U , BIOL 1011U , BIOL 1021U , and BIOL 1841U , of which at least two (6 credit hours) must be at the 3000- or 4000-level.
