General information
The Computer Science – Advanced Entry for Computer Programmer Analyst graduates enables graduates with a three-year Computer Programmer Analyst diploma from Durham College or George Brown an opportunity to complete a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Computer Science within four semesters, post-diploma.
Admission requirements
Graduates from Durham College’s or George Brown College’s three-year Computer Programmer Analyst college diploma program with an overall B average (73 per cent average) or better, will be considered for admission to the university’s Computer Science program.
Students approved for admission to this pathway program are accepted into the regular Computer Science program only and do not have the option to transfer into other programs or specializations.

The requirements for the degree completion program are detailed in the following program map. Graduates from George Brown’s three-year Computer Programmer Analyst college diploma program should contact science advising for their specific program map.
Notes:
No more than 42 credit hours may be taken at the first-year level.
*Electives and breadth requirements
Students must complete 12 elective credit hours in courses offered by the Faculty of Science, including 6 credit hours in senior Computer Science electives. Of these 12 credit hours, no more than 9 credit hours can be in CSCI courses (including the two senior Computer Science electives). Please see the Computer Science program map for the list of approved Computer Science electives.
