Faculty of Business and Information Technology


The Faculty of Business and Information Technology offers innovative degree programs in Commerce (major, double major and minor options) and Information Technology (major and minor options). By placing a strong emphasis on how technology can enhance business opportunities, students are prepared to launch successful careers in business and technology sectors.  We are committed to our students’ success and take pride in knowing our graduates will make a strong impact in their communities.

The faculty’s research focuses on the areas of business process integration and management, risk management, international business, marketing, corporate governance, games user research, interactive media, health analytics, artificial intelligence,emerging technologies and information technology security. The faculty also promotes commercialization of technology and embraces the University’s focus on Tech with a Conscience.

Faculty and staff at Ontario Tech University come from diverse academic backgrounds and are excited to share their knowledge and life experience with students. The university offers master’s degree programs through this faculty in Information Technology Security (MITS), Business Analytics and AI (MBAI), Financial Data Analytics (MFDA), and Computer Science (MSc).
