The Faculty of Business and Information Technology offers innovative degree programs in Commerce (major, double major and minor options) and Information Technology (major and minor options). By placing a strong emphasis on how technology can enhance business opportunities, students are prepared to launch successful careers in business and industry.
If at the end of second year, you would like to combine two major study areas, pursuing a double major may be the solution. Students would have to complete all degree requirements for both majors to be eligible for the double degree. The majority of the double majors in Commerce can be completed within the four-year program. If you’re interested in doing two majors, consult with your academic advisor during second year.
The faculty’s research focuses on the areas of business process integration and management, risk management, international business, marketing, corporate governance, and information technology security. The faculty also promotes commercialization of technology.
Faculty and staff at the University of Ontario Institute of Technology come from diverse academic backgrounds and are excited to share their knowledge and life experience with students.
