MTSC 7002G - PhD Dissertation

The dissertation is the primary component of the PhD degree requirement. The research must lead to an original contribution of knowledge in the field which must be reported fully in the candidate’s dissertation. The research is carried out under the direction of the candidate’s supervisor or co-supervisors in co-operation with a supervisory committee. This thesis will be accompanied by an oral thesis defence.
Credit hours: 40
Prerequisite(s): Good standing in the Materials Science PhD program.
