ENGR 5670G - Secure Communications and Networking This course covers diverse topics on secure communications and networking such as classical encryption, symmetric and public-key cryptography, key management, message authentication and digital signatures. Particular communications and network attacks and threats are studied such as denial-of-service (DoS), distributed DoS, malicious software and intrusion detection. Security threats in distributed computing environments are also studied. Credit hours: 3 Credit restriction(s): CSCI 5310G and MITS 5500G
