NURS 0420U – Professional Nursing - Bridging Students will explore aspects of health and healing in the context of social, cultural, and spiritual diversity, values, beliefs, lifestyle choices, environment, and biophysical dimensions. The role and standards of practice for the registered nurse will be related to nursing knowledge, caring concepts and evidence based practice. Students will use reflective strategies to explore the meaning of lived caring experiences with examples from their own nursing practice and life experience. They will examine ways of caring as human beings and within the role of the registered nurse.
