ENGR 5221G - Computer-Integrated Manufacturing This course covers Computer-Integrated Manufacturing (CIM) with a particular focus on automated manufacturing process planning. It provides advanced instruction in design and implementation of integrated CAD/CAM, robotics and flexible manufacturing systems. It also provides emphasis on concurrent engineering principles, manufacturing process engineering, computer-aided process planning, NC programming and CAD/CAM integration. The course provides experience with CAD/CAM software and NC machines. Credit hours: 3
