BUSI 5020G - Ethics and Leadership

This course examines the legal, moral and ethical aspects of business decisions and practices. Topics studied include corporate responsibility; corporate governance; environmental sustainability; and ethics in marketing, accounting, human resources, and information communication and technology. Leadership studies how executives motivate others to work towards team objectives. Theories of leadership such as trait, behavioural, participative, situational, contingency, transactional and transformational are examined as well as practices of outstanding leadership. A personal plan for leadership development is created.
