SSCI 6920G - Professional Seminar

This course is designed to prepare and assist graduate students through the rigors, challenges, opportunities and key aspects of the graduate program. The course will focus on success strategies for graduate school including developing a research agenda, applying for scholarships, effective reading and writing, public speaking and gaining employment after graduation. The course will also introduce students to faculty members from FSSH and discuss the PhD program milestones and expectations. This is a pass/fail course.
