INSE 2210U – Operations Research I (Deterministic) Operations research I introduces the fundamental aspects and applications of a broad range of methods and techniques to provide effective and efficient solutions for problems that involve decision‐making. Major deterministic techniques of operations research such as linear programming, integer programming, simplex method, duality, network analysis, and dynamic programming, and their application to decision making problems will be presented in this course. Credit hours: 3 Lecture hours: 3 Tutorial hours: 1 Prerequisite(s): MATH 1010U and MATH 1850U
