INDG 4300U – Special Topics in Indigenous Studies The Special Topics course will explore topics in Indigenous studies that are not examined in other INDG courses. The specific topic will change each year. Students in the course will be expected to undertake independent research on the topic of the course and to actively participate in a seminar‐style class to build a deeper understanding of Indigenous histories, philosophies and worldviews. Off-campus field trips may be a required part of this course. Credit hours: 3.0 Lecture hours: 3.0 Note(s): Must have 3rd year standing Experiential learning: Yes
