INFR 4601U – Software-Defined and Programmable Networks This course introduces students to the current trends in software-defined networking (SDN). Course content will include: Fundamentals of data plane and control plane management, principles of software-defined networking; SDN controllers; Southbound and Northbound interfaces; network virtualization; SDN use cases and applications; programmable network devices; SDN orchestration and configuration; Intent-based networking.
