KINE 1120U – Human Growth and Motor Development The purpose of this course is to provide the student with an understanding of human growth and development across the lifespan and understand the factors that influence changes in behavior from a developmental perspective. Students will gain an understanding of the major theoretical perspectives of motor development and will be able to consider the acquisition of motor skills within the framework of these theories.
