METE 3200U – Sensors and Instrumentation This course presents methods to measure physical quantities such as position, velocity, acceleration, force, strain, pressure, temperature, and fluid flow. Topics include the selection and application of sensors; sensor models; calibration; dynamic response of measurement systems; signal conditioning; methods of data acquisition and recording; and the design of measurement systems. Credit hours: 3 Lecture hours: 3 Laboratory hours: 2 (biweekly) Prerequisite(s): ELEE 3230U or METE 2020U
