CRMN 3023U – Family Violence The course will cover the history of family violence as a social problem; its dynamics, prevalence and outcomes; critical issues in conducting and interpreting research around victims within familial settings and relationships; media representations of violence against family members; the intersection of violence and social categories; violence related services as they relate to family members as victims; and contemporary family violence policy.
