CRMN 2021U – Families and the Justice System The purpose of this course is to introduce the student to problems in the family and their relation to the justice system. In addition to gaining knowledge of the theoretical perspectives used to study the family, the student will also learn about such issues as the relation between family and work, parenting, family interactions, and legal issues within the family. The legal issues to be discussed include family violence, divorce and remarriage, and the creation of social policies as they impact on the family.
