PHY 3050U – Experimental Methods in Physics II This course covers advanced experimental methods in physics, focusing particularly on topics in the fields of waves and optics, including: oscillations and waves; traveling and standing waves in different media; geometrical optics; polarization, reflection, refraction and transmission of electromagnetic waves; lasers and coherence; Fourier and nonlinear optics; interference and diffraction.
