PHY 3030U – Experimental Methods in Physics I This course covers general experimental methods in physics, focusing particularly in the fields of electricity and magnetism and electronics, including: DC, AC and transient electric circuits; semiconductor physics and technology with applications to diodes, junction and field effect transistors, operational amplifiers and sensors; electronics circuits for physics experiments; digital electronics, logic circuits, memories, counters and processors, data acquisition and analysis.
