INFR 1550U – Law and Ethics of IT This course provides an overview of topics related to legal, ethical and social issues arising from the use of information technology. It also covers areas such as cybercrime, privacy, intellectual property and equitable access. Topics to be covered include an overview of ethics, ethics for IT professionals and IT users, computers and Internet crimes, privacy, freedom of expression, intellectual property, and the code of ethics and professional conduct.
