HLSC 4820U – Interdisciplinary Collaboration This course will introduce students to key components of interprofessional coloration in health care. The course will be divided into two major components. First, the differences between professions will be studied by having students exploring the traditions, epistemology, and values of their respective professions. Professional roles, responsibilities, decision-making, power and authority in health care will be examined. Second, case studies will allow students to explore and develop personal/professional competencies for interprofessional practice.
