EDST 3110U – Critical Digital Literacies Information is growing exponentially, creating challenges for individuals to efficiently find, organize and reflect critically about how information is produced and how it is consumed. Additionally, the ability for anyone to create online resources requires individuals to critically assess the quality of information on a regular basis. An equity, diversity, and inclusion mindset requires individuals to consider whose voices and perspectives are included and whose are missing. This course aims to develop critical digital literacies skills to address these challenges. Students will develop effective strategies and tools for the critical consumption and production of digital texts.
